  • Black Newspapers from eight major cities (Cleveland, Chicago, Houston, Detroit, Washington D.C., Norfolk, New York and Los Angeles) including the Muslim Chronicle also from Chicago. These are archived from varying starting dates from the 1990’s to current.
  • ProQuest National Newspapers Premier carries full-text newspapers from 44 major cities and the Christian Science Monitor with varying starting dates beginning from the 1980’s to current.

ProQuest Historical Newspapers™ provides easy access to the past. Researchers can search 21 different article types to find exactly what they are looking for, including: News, Editorials, Letters to the Editor, Obituaries, Birth & Marriage Announcements, Stock Photos, Advertisements, and more.
