One excellent source is the Health & Wellness Resource Center accessible either in the Library or from home through the Library’s website with your library card barcode. Using a simple keyword search you can access overviews and fact sheets about a huge variety of medical conditions and diseases, prescription and non-prescription drugs, treatments, medical tests, alternative medicine, fitness, nutrition and more. An Advanced Search option can help you refine your search. The database also searches articles in over 2000 magazines and nearly 400 medical journals, many available in full-text. In addition the database includes over 700 videos on health topics; hundreds of full-text pamphlets from government agencies and many organizations; a directory of contact information for agencies, associations, schools, and healthcare facilities; a dictionary and much more.
