New England Ancestors From early town records to published family histories, the genealogist can search an assortment of databases listed alphabetically, by location, or by record type. In addition to the New England states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont, there are a few resources for Canada, England, and Ireland.
New England Ancestors is not limited to its great database collection. Researchers have access to genealogy articles and event news of the NEHGS; help from an online genealogist; the NEHGS library catalog; online seminars; and information about the society’s research services.
